Hello everyone. I hope that everyone is enjoying their week so far. Tomorrow if Friday and it is the start of a beautiful weekend.

Just thought I would share a little with you that I have been up to. This card here is a card that reminds me of spring. It was made with a background stamp from Hero Arts CG123 Flower Wallpaper. I stamped the background with VersaMark ink and embossed it with Zing white opaque embossing powder and then heat set it. I love this technique from Shari Carroll over on the Hero Arts website. Check it out. It is awesome!

So, I have gotten my new Silhouette SD die cutting machine and I have to say it is totally awesome! I had no idea the difference I would see. I still have my Cricut Expression and will keep it and my cartridges but I love how the Silhouette lets you purchase only the images you want at their online store. Hero Arts also has cuts available for the Silhouette at the Silhouette store.

Here are just some of the images that I have cut from my Silhouette SD just using plain printer paper. AMAZING results! Never tore and very detailed. I love the dress form and the circle. I think I may turn that into some type of stain glass pattern. MMMMM. You can cut lots of things from this machine. I don't know yet if you can cut lightweight chipboard but I am not going to try! LOL.

Well, I will get back to organizing my craft room once again. I know I have been doing this for a while but when I get finished with organizing it just doesn't feel right so I do it again. LOL. I think I am getting about where I want it. I want new furniture and to put in laminate flooring and paint the walls. Then it will feel better in here. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will be back on here later. I would love to hear everyone's comments on my stamp layering card at the top of this post. So, leave a comment! The silouhette is awesome, what detail. Can't wait to see new things there, especially the stained glass project to come. :)
